It's tough to be a parent-or a kid today. We're dealing with sex among middle-schoolers. College kids casually "hooking up." Stressed parents who live out their ambitions at their kid's baseball game. Depression. Having time as a family.

The family unit (however it is defined) is or has the potential to be one of the great stabilizing forces in society and in our personal lives. However, many of today's families suffer from overwhelming busyness and fragmentation.

The Mennonite churches care deeply about the issues facing families, and that's why we produced these spots. We want to provide a positive message that will shape persons' attitudes and behaviors in the family. Tackling tough family issues with love and guidance makes stronger families and a stronger culture.

 
Newspaper ads for churches, sponsors and stations to use in drawing attention to the Parenting PSAs in local publications are available below. The newspaper can set up your church/sponsor message and place it in the blank area of the ad. Use any or all three of the following, or write your own:
